CLASSROOM
Students will take advantage of classroom spaces and lecture halls in the McNeill, Carver, and Kent buildings on campus. All spaces for the curriculum are located centrally on campus. A small student to staff ratio enables us to break into small groups to maximize individual attention.
RESIDENTIAL LIFE
Students reside in the Barker Residence Hall at Simpson College. The dorm rooms have double beds with dressers, desks, and a closet (bring hangers if you would like to hang clothes). Each hallway has a common bathroom, which has private stalls and showers. Rooms come with a linen package that includes: a pillow, pillowcase, sheets, towel, washcloth, and blanket. The entire dorm facility is air-conditioned. The dorm room is secured 24 hours a day. The dorm has full time residential life staff who are dedicated to the supervision, health, and wellness of the students in the program. Additional faculty are assigned supervision during meal times and after the curriculum has completed for the day.
DINING
Meals are provided daily in Pfeiffer Dining Hall, which is adjacent to the residence hall. Resident students get three meals a day and commuter students get lunch and dinner. The Simpson Dining Services provide a variety of options that are gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian. Additional dietary restrictions can be accommodated as well. Students can walk a short distance to get to other dining options. Students who wish to eat off campus must sign out.
