NEW APPLICANTS

Students who register online before May 1, 2022, will be automatically admitted upon receipt of a $500.00 non-refundable tuition deposit*. However, a waitlist will be established upon reaching capacity. Waitlists typically begin in February. The tuition balance is due on May 1, 2020.  Failure to pay your balance by May 1, 2022, can lead to your spot being released to a student on the waiting list.

Students who register after May 1, 2022, will need to pay in full at the time of registration to secure a spot in the 2022 session*.

*Applicants may not be accepted due to space constraints or other considerations as deemed appropriate by the camp directors.  Any applicants who make a deposit but aren’t given a spot will be refunded their deposit.

EXISTING SAN JOSE APPLICANTS

At this time, we need everyone who has already registered to complete a new application. If you had a confirmed spot in our in-person institute, you are guaranteed a spot in our online institute until the registration deadlines.

An application without a deposit paid is not guaranteed and waitlisted until confirmation of payment is received. Students who have previously paid for a live camp may transfer any deposits and/or payments made from a previous application.

San Jose (now Online Session 1) Balance of payments are due on or before May 1, 2020.

If a waitlist exists, spots are not guaranteed and applicants should not make payments until confirmation is e-mailed.

All tuition payments made after May 1, 2022, are non-refundable for any reason. The $500 non-refundable application fee is non-refundable, for any reason, after you submit your application.

REFUND PROCESS

Please note that an invoice or a refund will be sent to the applicant using credit from previous Summit Debate applications. After the submission and process of the application is completed, administration will send the applicant and parent on file an invoice for the balance or a refund for any remaining credit from a previous Summit Debate transaction. To confirm these details, please email info@summitdebate.com

If there is a tuition payment credit balance remaining, Summit Debate will send a refund check to a payee designated by the client. Please allow 8-10 weeks for the processing of all refund checks.

All current refund policies for all scheduled live camp sessions will remain in place, with a May 1st deadline to cancel your camp registration and to receive tuition payment refunds for all payments made, excluding the $400 non-refundable application deposit.

Financial Aid

Summit Debate will honor and transfer all 2022 financial aid awards, previously given to students attending live camp sessions, to any of our online sessions.  Additionally, we will open our scholarship window until May 1, 2022, for students applying to any of our online institutes.

Our financial assistance is need-based and award amounts range from 20-75% of the tuition cost. All materials for Financial Aid applications are available in the registration portal and must be received by May 1st, 2022. Decisions will be made by May 15, 2020.

Payment plans are possible for all students who make prior arrangements.

All applications require a $500.00 non-refundable deposit to hold a spot at our camps.
